2007 - Moonage Daydream, written by Ben S.
These are the first pages I even did working off of scripts provided by someone else. It was made for fun at a forum I visit. Various comic fans teamed up to make comics based on their favorite characters, pitting them against other teams' favorites. The results were pretty universally slapstick. We fought on Mars.

October 20, 2007 - The Manmade Man
October 20th was 24 Hour Comics Day. My friends Erin and Sef had been pressuring me for some weeks to join in on the festivities, and I was kind of unsure. In the end, I decided to do it. I discovered that I am too slow to make 24 pages in 24 hours! Each of these pages took about 2 hours, and about 12 hours in, the three of us ran out of steam, so this story remains unfinished. The story seemed way too derivative after I had a chance to look back on it, but that's what you get when you have to write it with no preparation the day of!

February, 2007 - January, 2008 - Anteros Battle Comics
Since 2006, I've been participating in battle comics (First over at the Penny Arcade forums, and from 2007 onwards over at War for Arcadia). Essentially, the site hosts comic battles between fellow comic book artists. Each one submits a character, and then they're assigned to fight each other. There are very short deadlines to write and draw an entire fourth of a narrative. You exchange turns, continuing the narrative you and your opponent collaboratively create. It's really fun and the comics and stories that get created are really bizarre. This is just a sampling of the pages I drew last year. The numbered pages are sequential.
